Fall 2009 Trend Watch

I'm a big fashion and trend watcher and I read a lot of magazines.  I read everything from Vogue to Launchpad.  It's filled with lot's of info from hair, makeup, and clothing.  So here are some things to watch for this fall.

Trend watch 1: Mixed up fabrics and textiles; supersized patterns; elaborate headgear as seen above from the Alexander McQueen show.

Trend Watch 2: Beatle bowl cuts; Carnaby Street shapes and influences; shimmery fabrics as seen above from 3.1 Phillip Lim.

      Trend Watch 3:  Shiny, "shampoo commercial" hair; multi-cultural whimsy; style without sacrificing comfort as seen from Diane Von Furstenberg.
